It is now week 3 for my power rankings and the Boston Bruins keep the top spot by now over 2 points. The Bruins have dominated the league so far with an amazing 17-2-0 record. Behind them the Devils jump up a spot after winning 13 in a row and a 16-3-0 record.
Here is the formula that I am using for my power rankings:
((GD/CF%)+(√PK%+√PP%))*PTS%

The more red that a column is, the worse that the team is in that category compared to the rest of the league. A pure white column means that the team is the best in the league.
The highest riser of the teams was a tie between the Winnipeg Jets, Minnesota Wild, and Nashville Predators. Winnipeg has gone 4-1-0 since the last power rankings, Minnesota was gone 4-0-0, and Nashville has gone 3-0-0. Minnesota holds the place for the highest improving team with the Jets and Predators close behind.
The team that dropped the most spots was the Colorado Avalanche as they dropped 7 spots. The Avalanche are also the least improving team as they dropped 1.36 points. The Avalanche went 1-3-0 since the last power rankings, including a 0-5 and a 1-5 loss.
I do apologize for this being out late, I have been busy but will get it out next Sunday on time.
